How it usually works
Many corded and cordless phones work with a digital line by plugging into the phone adapter we lend you (the adapter is lent, not sold). You keep using a familiar handset on your new digital number.
If your phone does not work
If your handset does not work with the adapter, tell us. We will advise on alternatives. You can also use our VoIP app on a compatible smartphone .
Keeping your number
In most cases you can keep your existing number. Porting is free. Our staff arrange it by hand, and it usually takes a few working days. It is not instant or automatic. Read Can I keep my phone number?.
