VoIP App only (Talk 1000)
£14.99 a month, on a 1-month rolling contract. This is the total you pay.
Make and take calls on your own number, using our app on your mobile phone. You don’t need a phone line or an adapter.
- Your own UK number on your smartphone
- No phone line or adapter needed
- 1,000 UK landline and mobile minutes a month
- As many as 500 of these to mobiles, 300 to 03
- One new UK phone number included
Calls and contract: Included minutes don’t cover 070 or 076 numbers. No set-up fee. After your minutes, calls to UK landlines and mobiles are 10p a minute, charged by the second. International calls and numbers starting 09, 118, 070, 084 and 087 are barred until you ask us to lift the bar. Unused minutes don’t roll over. 1-month rolling: end it at any time with 30 days’ notice.
What you need: a smartphone (iPhone or Android) with a working mobile SIM card, and a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. Calls in the app use your internet connection. If you use mobile data, your mobile provider may count it towards your data allowance. Call quality depends on your connection.
999 and 112 emergency calls: the app doesn’t connect 999 or 112 calls itself. If you dial 999 or 112 in the app, it passes the call to your phone’s normal dialler. Your mobile network then connects the call for free, using your own SIM card, just like any other 999 call from your mobile. Your mobile network also gives the emergency services your location, as it does for any mobile 999 call.
This means:
- you need a phone with a working SIM card. You can’t call 999 from the app on a tablet or a phone without a SIM.
- the emergency services will see your mobile number, not your app number
- this service doesn’t replace a landline. If you rely on a phone to call for help, for example because you use a telecare alarm, please talk to us before you order.
Before you order: we’ll give you a contract summary with the key details, plus our terms, to read before you agree. If you order online or by phone, you have 14 days to change your mind.

Business Talk 2000
£14.49 a month, fixed for your whole 12-month contract. This is the total you pay.
- 2,000 UK landline and mobile minutes a month
- Up to 1,000 of these to mobiles, 600 to 03
- One new UK number for one person
- Set-up and delivery £9.99
- Price fixed for 12 months
Calls and contract: Included minutes don’t cover 070 or 076 numbers. After your minutes, calls to UK landlines and mobiles are 10p a minute. International calls and numbers starting 09, 118, 070, 084 and 087 are barred until you ask us to lift the bar. Unused minutes don’t roll over. Minimum term: 12 months. Set-up and delivery £9.99.
Fair use: Business Talk 2000 is for normal business calls made by one person on one line. It isn’t for call centres, auto-diallers, bulk or marketing calls, or reselling minutes. If your use looks like this, we’ll contact you first to talk it through. We may suggest a plan that suits you better, such as a multi-user phone system. We won’t add charges without telling you first.
Before you order: we’ll send you a contract summary with the key details, including the price, minimum term, what happens when the contract ends, and how to cancel. We’ll also send our terms. You’ll get these to read before you agree.
Cancelling: Business customers don’t have the 14-day cooling-off period that consumers have. Please read your contract summary before you order.
999 calls and power cuts: you can call 999 and 112 for free from the phone or adapter plugged into your Business Talk line. Your line won’t work in a power cut or a broadband fault. If you rely on it to call 999, for example because there’s no reliable mobile signal where you are, tell us when you order and we’ll talk through your options. Please keep your address up to date with us, because we give it to the emergency services. Always be ready to tell the operator where you are.
